Five USA

Five's American cousin, Five USA (formerly Five US), launched on 16th October 2006 and is now the 11th highest rating multichannel in the UK during prime time.

Five USA brings UK viewers the slickest, smartest Amercian drama series, including CSI, CSI New York, CSI Miami, House, Numb3rs and Shark, as well as a combination of established and new drama; comedy; films; sport and youth programming.

Five USA is still growing its audience. In 2008, the average audience share for Five US was +14% greater than 2007.

The channel changed its name from Five US to Five USA on February 16th 2009.

Statistics

• Launched on 16^th October 2006, Five USA (formerly Five US) is the #11 highest rating multi-channel during the peak 18:00-22:30 day part (Jan-09).
• Five USA shows some of the best American drama series, including CSI, CSI-NY, CSI Miami, Numb3rs, House and Shark (8 Emmy Awards between them).
• In February 2008, the channel aired an episode of Law & Order as part of a CSI cross over. It achieved the highest multi channel share (20%) of any digital channel in 2008.
• Five USA also airs some of the best Hollywood movies. Among the top films on the channel in 2008 were: Men in Black II, Bad Boys 2, Terminator 3 and XXX2.
• The channel is still growing its audience. In 2008, the average audience share of Five USA was +14% greater than 2007.
